The Importance Of Eyebrows
Eyebrow Products:
Hip Color Truth Cream Liner in Brown, L'oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner in Blackest Black,
Wet & Wild Fergi Center Stage Collection in Desert Festival ( Dark Matte Brown)
You may have noticed that I really love to define my brows, I think that they are the most important part of my routine. You see the brows are the focal point of the face they define the face, they add structure and most important they complete a you eye look. As you can see in the pictures above I don't have a full brow with the perfect shape (I'm actually in the process of growing them out after a horrible threading job) so I defiantly have to fill them in using three different products. It is hard choosing the colors that I out on my eyebrows because they are naturally black, therefore any other color would make them look unnatural. I have to use a color that is a really dark brown almost black and fade it in to make them appear natural. I also like to pay attention to the shape that I give them, although it's hard to understand that brows are not suppose to be twins they are to be sisters. Lately I have been liking a more straight shape with a thicker fuller looking brow, and that seems to be working for me.
Here (video) is a link to one of my favorite videos that really goes in to depth about eyebrows and its shapes, It has really helped me in understanding what works for me and its from one of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus who I have been following for years Michelle Phan.

Dark Smokey Green Nightout Look
I'm really sorry about the picture quality I took this pictures as I was heading out with my husband to go out dancing and it was already dark out. When I was doing my make up in my head I had pictured a really dark Midnight Blue color on my lid, then I remembered that I had no such color since mine broke a couple of days ago. I had to work with what I had and even though it was not what I was expecting I think it turned out just fine.

October Favorites: Studio Gear Matte Foundation & Loreal Telescopic Mascara
I'm really sorry about the delays on my postings but my breakouts have been messing with my head as I have mentioned before then I got sick but I promise I'm back at full swing.
Here are my two favorite items for the month of October, towards the middle of the month I began using my Michael Todd True Organics system and I started to break out bad so I wanted something that would cover all my blemishes and redness and my Studio Gear Studio Matte Foundation was perfect for that. This foundation matches my skin perfectly it's full coverage but at the same time it's light enough that your skin still visible and doesn't feel heavy at all. I love to apply this foundation with a damp Beauty Blender, this allows me to control the coverage while still allowing my skin to breath. I do set my T-Zone with a powder but nothing else gets powder, this will last me a good 8-10 hours looking great without any touch ups.
My second favorite has to be my Loreal Telescopic Mascara I have been using this mascara for the past 3 years and I love it, I usually go back and forth between this gold tube and the black tube. I began using the gold tube at the end of September and I'm very pleased love the length that it gives me it also doesn't flake like many others do. It's also one of the blackest black and it stays black the whole day.
Those are my favorites for this month what are you currently loving?

Michael Todd True Organics: Update
I have been using system for about 16 days already and to be hones my skin has been breaking out so bad. My breakouts have not been the normal white heads that I usually get instead I have really bad cystic acne and they hurt so bad. I also felt my skin drying out without any hydration what so ever, even though I was using the serum plus my regular moisterizer. After about 12 days I stopped you using the Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser it was just horrible my skin was worse than it had ever been. My self esteem was on the ground I was in tears by the 10th day I couldn't anything else but the complete system, I E-Mailed Customer Service and after a couple of questions and talking back and forth they recommended that I stop using the Cleanser. They were really nice and asked me to return the Cleanser to exchange it for the Honey and Oat Gentle Deep Pore Cleanser because it would be gentler on my skin. The explanition that they gave me was that the Charcoal Cleanser was too harsh for my skin and was drying it to the point of causing my horrible breakouts. I should receive my new cleanser by next week because it wont be shipped out until Friday I will try the new one out and will update you in about 2 weeks.
As far as the rest of the system I dont feel like it causes any of my breakouts, they are very gentle and since I stopped using the Cleanser my breakout have been less and less everyday. My favorite two steps of the system are the Exfoliator and the Toner together they make my skin feel amazingly clean.
Like I mentioned before in about two weeks I will have and update with a picture and a comparison to the first picture I took the day I began using the system (you can check it out here)
