Product Review: Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in As You WantVictoria

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in As You Want Victoria

Company Claims:

Lips so cared for, true colour is maximised! Maximised, radiant colour. Innovative formula with 3 super Moisturisers. Lips feel up to 70% more hydrated and up to 60% smoother! SPF 20, Vitamins A, C and E for protected lips.

Pros:

Very Moisturizing
Lots of Shine
Very Bright
Extremely Pigmented

Cons:

Not long lasting

Overall:

This lipstick has amazing pigmentation and so much shine when you first apply it that it just looks flawlessly beautiful.  Like I mentioned the only down side to the lipstick is that the shine goes away pretty fast but if your anything like me and you don't like shiny lips this is something that really doesn't matter all that much.  Once the shine goes away the color still very pigmented and as the hours go by it starts to look like you used a stain instead of a lipstick.  The first day I wore this lipstick it was on it's own and it lasted about 3-4 hours looking presentable, I was working at the time and I was on the phone the whole time. The second time I used a lip liner and to my surprise it had the same effect and it lasted about the same 3-4 hours.  I will defenantly be trying other shades most likely lighter shades.

Check out my INSTAGRAM for pictures wearing this lipstick.

Product Review: Loreal True Match Mineral Pressed Powder

Company Claims:

From the True Match family, comes a new Instant Shine Eraser Powder in a unique mineral formula that offers up to 16 hours of fresh, true color without oil breakthrough for a flawless look that lasts all day. True Match™ Mineral Pressed Powder provides versatile coverage: You can blot shine, blend for a natural finish, or build for more coverage. Available in 8 skin-true shades to precisely match your skin’s tone and texture.

If I could use one word to describe this powder it would have to be AMAZING!!  I have to be honest with you I have not used this powder as as a foundation I use it to set my foundation, since its so finely milled it doesn't make me look powdery or cakeky.  I also don't wear foundation for over 8-10 hours I therfore I can assure you that it last 16 hours as claimed by the company, but I will say that it helps my foundation stay put during the day.  I also do use this product to set my concealer aswell it makes it stay put all day without creasing,  I only have an oily T-Zone and this powder helps to keep my powder at bay.

Pros:

Finely Milled
Light
Seamless on the skin
Great Shade Collection

Cons:

None

Overall:

Love this powder I recommended to everyone it's so finely milled that it's easy to blend into the skin that you can hardly notice it on the skin.

First Impression Tuesdays: Revlon Age Defying Targeted DarkSpotConcealer Treatment

This weeks review will be on a fairly new product from Revlon and it's there Revlon Age Defying Targeted  Dark Spot Concealer Treatment.  I have never tried anything from there Age Defying line, and though I'm only 24 I love trying products that have anti-aging benefits.

Company Claims:

Pinpoint dark spots like never before.

82% of women said the appearance of age spots and discolorations were instantly improved.

Our innovative concealer features a Vitamin C and licorice-enriched formula that instantly reduces the appearance of age spots and discolorations for smooth, more even looking skin.

First Impression:

First thing I have to say is DO NOT SET WITH A POWDER!! This is a very dry concealer and the powder will just cling on to it and make those areas noticeable. Having the complete opposite effect since what we want is to make those areas disappear,   I know that this concealer is targeted primarily for dark spots on the skin and not the under the eye area as I tried out today however because of it's yellow color helps to cancel out my dark circles and brighten up my face. I will say that in the future I will make sure to apply plenty of my under eye cream to help prevent the concealer getting into my fine lines.

Overall

I will continue to use this product and see how much over all it helps with my dark spots and also experiment with different ways to apply it and see what works best.

Product Review: Milani Baked Blush in Bella Rosa

Company Claims :

A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.

Price: $7.99 You can find it (here)

Pros:

Love the quality of this blush is amazing and it's so pigmented that you need the slightest amount to get the perfect amount on you cheeks.   The best thing about this blush is that there is no shimmer its completly matte,  I've never been a fan of shimmery blushes I gravatate towards satin finish that add just the right amount of glow to my skin.  I also do love that with this blush I can bring light into the high points of my cheeks with a highlighter and not worry about looking like a disco ball.

Cons:

I really don't have any true cons about this blush because it's a great product however I do want to point out that I would love if they came out with more shades, I can stress enough that you need to use a very very light hand to apply, most of the time I use a duo fiber brush.  Other then that there is really nothing bad to say about this product.

PS.

I apologize for being away for so long however I've been struggling with my skin and all though I have been wearing make up if you follow me on instagram you seen me, but I really don't feel 100% confident to post pictures of my face.
